The usual denial of the Islamic origins of jihad terror, has followed the Paris and San Bernardino attacks. The attacks are put down to Muslim extremism, when it is in fact Islamic orthodoxy. The jihad terrorists are no more extreme than the example set by their beloved prophet Mohammad and their venerated Allah. They are simply doing what their religion tells them is their supreme and central purpose, to bring the world into submission to Allah – by any means. Anyone who has looked into Islamic history will know it has always been spread and maintained by the sword, atrocity and by fear.
President Obama has led the gaggle of delusional western leaders in parroting the patently absurd claim that Islam is a religion of peace, when it is clear to everyone, not driven by the liberal multicultural agenda that it is not.
From a Christian perspective it is especially galling that President Obama will at every opportunity dredge up events from Christianity’s past to claim all religions have their extremists. He conveniently ignores the fact that where evil was done in the name of Christianity it happened in opposition to biblical instruction. Islam, on the other hand can draw directly on its Koran and the example of its prophet to justify violent inhumanity. He also completely ignores the fact that Islam is drenched in the blood of those it slew over centuries in repeated Jihad-ist wars. This sort of rank hypocrisy is reprehensible.
Western leaders have been busy denying and marginalising Christianity for decades, simply because it is opposed to their liberal, multicultural ideology. When it comes to Islam they are willing to paper over the truth, deny their own claims to tolerance, reason and gender equality and ignore the very foundations of Islam. More hypocrisy. They have therefore become its apologists and are complicit in its Jihads. The Bible tells us people like to say good is evil and evil is good. There is no better example of this truth today than the defence of Islam by Obama, Merkel, Cameron and their fellow travelers in the EU and U.S. government.
